I will do a post on how I plan on wearing these lip products!! What are some of your favorite nude lip combos, I'd love to hear about them to get some more ideas.

New Makeup Storage

Hey beauty lovers! I hope everyone had a good holiday, I know I did! I was sort of sad waking up this morning because I knew I had to get back into the daily routine of work again  (blah). Anyway I got a really good response from my makeup brush holder post (click here if you haven't seen that post)  that I decided to do more makeup and storage type videos. So I wanted to share my new storage that I received recently my MUJI 5 drawer acrylic container. I know there has been a lot of buzz about those containers because they are so similar to the clear cube storage (a lot of people have seen the ones the  Kardasians have) Here is what the container looks like:

These containers are very sturdy and durable so I feel that it was well worth the $23.95 I paid. Although the drawers are not that deep you can still fit a lot of makeup inside of them. Here is what I put inside of mine.

1st drawer from the top:
Blush (Milani, MAC, ELF, NYX)

2nd Drawer:
Lipsticks (MAC, NYX, Revlon, Covergirl, Milani)
3rd Drawer:
Lipgloss (ELF, Revlon, Mac, Milani, NYX, Wet n Wild)
4th Drawer:
Eye Drawer (Elf, Revlon, Rimmel, Maybelline, Too Faced, Wet n Wild, NYX)

5th Drawer:
Pigments (Elf, L'oreal, Spectrum, Still Glamorous)

I can't wait to get more of these! If you would like to purchase your own check out the site. But I must worn you that they go quick so check the site frequently.

Do you have a muji? what's in yours?

DIY Makeup Brush Holders

Hey beauty lovers! I'm coming at you guys with a different kind of post today. This is going to be a DIY (Do it yourself) project post. I have been bored with my makeup brushes for so long and I need new storage for them. I wish I would have taken a picture of my brush storage before but I forgot, but pretty much I had my brushes in a cup (not cool)! As some of you may know I will be moving in a couple of weeks and I get my own Makeup Room (I'm so excited!!!!!) So naturally I will have a lot more room for my makeup and can come up with different storage ideas. I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos on how to store brushes and I came up with a cute way so I wanted to share it with you all. So let me stop talking and lets get into these holders. This is what I came up with

Cute Right!!! So If you want to learn how to make your own makeup brush holder similar to this I will show you how.

Materials You Will Need: ( I purchased everything from Michael's)

*A vase or something to hold your brushes in
*Ribbon
*Paint
*Paint Brushes / Sponges
*Hot glue gun
* Sand or some kind of material to hold up your  brushes
*Scissors

Let's Begin:
1. Measure  the ribbon around the top edge of the vase and cut the necessary lentgh
2. Take your hot glue gun and glue the back of the ribbon and then apply to the tip of the vase
3. Take any color sand (or filler) that you want and fill the vase half way ( I used whited and pink sand by pouring them in at the same time to get the mixed effect.
4. Take any paint you would along with any brush or sponge you want. Since I wanted circle shapes I chose to get circle sponge brushes
5. Let everything dry

The finished product

Hope you enjoyed!

Review Benefit: The POREfessional

Hey beauty lovers! I have another review for you!!! I have really been cranking them out lately (I'm so proud of myself) Today's review is on Benefit: The POREfessional Primer/ Corrector

What it claims:

Quickly minimize the appearance of pores! Apply this silky, lightweight balm for translucent pore coverage and smoother-than-smooth skin. Pores...now you see 'em, now you don't! Complements all skin tones.

My opinion:

I really like this product. I purchased it about a month ago and I have been using it everyday. Around my cheek area my pores are very noticeable, so I needed something to reduce the appearance and this product does a really good job of that. In no way does it completely eliminate my pores so don't buy this if thats what your looking for. I think this product does what it says it will do. You can apply this product under your makeup (which I usually do) or on top of your makeup for touch up (which I have tried  few times. I think it works better when you apply it under your makeup. I love how silky this product is and how it blends effortlessly. If you apply this product on top of your makeup you will have to do more blending because the product has more of a pinkish tone to it. The product says that it is oil free however I do find myself getting more oily on days when I use this. It is not a major drawback but if you hate being oily this might not be the product for you.

Where to Purchase:
Sephora

Price:
$28

Size:
22 mL

Packaging:
4/5

Product:
3.5/5

Pros
Minimizes pores
no scent

Cons:
Price $28
Leaves your skin oily
Only comes in a small bottle

Have you tried this product? What are your thought? Do you have any alternatives?
